All product pricing, specifications and availability can be found in our online catalog. Please use our Search box, Manufacturer Index, or click Shop On-Line to quickly locate the product(s) that you are interested in purchasing.

 

You have two options for order placement:

 

          www.engineeringshopper.com offers convenient online shopping 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

I. Online Ordering:

 

It's very easy – and safe – to order on-line. You simply find the product you want to purchase, click to order, click to confirm – and you're done. Just follow the simple steps below:

1.      Click on the market in which you are interested.

2.      Next, click on the manufacturer of the products of interest.

3.      Now click on the product.

4.      Fill in the total products you wish to add to your basket in the quantity box.

5.      Click on “Add to basket”

6.      Verify that the correct product and amount of products are correct.

7.      Click on “Continue shopping” if you when you wish to purchase other products.

8.      Click on “Complete order”.

9.      Ship to single destination if your order is to be shipped to one location or multiple destination if it is to be shipped to multiple locations.

All orders are processed as soon as the payment method has been verified. All orders require both billing and shipping address verification prior to shipment authentication.

                         

 

How do I cancel an order?

 

Once an order has been entered and you have received an order number, we can only cancel an order if the item is on backorder. To request cancellation of a backorder, please contact our Customer Service Department.

Do I have to pay sales tax for my order?

 

We are required to collect 5.75% sales tax for orders shipped within Ohio. We do not collect sales tax for orders billed and shipped to other states.

 

 

How do I make a tax-exempt purchase if my order is shipped to an Ohio address?

 

If your purchases from Engineeringshopper.com are to be exempt from applicable taxes, you will need to provide a valid, signed Sales Tax Exemption Certificate. Applicable taxes will be charged, if our Tax Department does not receive your tax exemption information. Please click here for Tax Exempt Request Cover Sheet.

 

Form of Certificate(s): Many States require a valid, signed sales exemption certificate to be completed and provided to the in order to make tax-exempt purchases.  In order to prevent delays in processing your tax-exempt purchase(s); please make sure all applicable Sales Tax Exemption forms for Ship-To State are provided. A valid tax exemption certificate will be required for each Ship-To State, if more than one State is indicated. Sales Tax Registration Permits and Resale Numbers on forms other than those prescribed by the State(s) will not be accepted.

 

Government Agencies: Most Federal Government Agencies are exempt from payment of sales taxes, as are many state and city jurisdictions. If this applies to your purchase(s), and you do not need to complete a Sales Tax Exemption form, indicate this in the REASON section on the Tax Exempt Request Cover Sheet and fax the completed Cover Sheet to the Engineeringshopper.com fax number indicated on the Cover Sheet. Where will my order ship from?

 

Orders are shipped from many different manufacturers nationwide. Your order will be drop shipped directly from the manufacturers warehouse to your shipping address. This distributed system ensures you receive the quickest possible delivery. This system may also mean that orders with multiple items may ship from different locations and arrive in separate shipments.

 

All shipping charges are determined according to product weight and maximum shipping zone.

 

 

When will my order be shipped?

 

Orders for in stock items that are approved by our credit department are usually shipped on the same day. Orders for non-stock items vary accordingly by manufacturers.

 

 

Does EngineeringShopper.com ship to addresses outside the continental U.S.?

 

Orders can be shipped to most countries.  Please contact Customerservice@engineeringshopper.com for exact shipping locations.

 

 

Can I ship to multiple destinations?

 

No, not at this time.

 

 

Does EngineeringShopper.com deliver on Saturday?

 

Orders are delivered Monday through Friday only.

 

 

Can I change the shipping method on my order (e.g. UPS Ground to FedEx Economy or vice versa) after my order has been placed?

 

Due to the speed in which we process orders, we are unable to change the shipping method once orders are electronically transmitted to our manufacturers.

 

 

How do I report a shipped order that has not been delivered?

 

If your order is not delivered within the specified days of the ship date reflected on your shipment confirmation notice, please e-mail us to report the overdue delivery.  In order for us to initiate a trace or process a claim with the carrier, we must be notified of delivery problems within 30 days of shipment.

 

 

What should I do if my package arrives damaged?

 

If the freight carrier attempts to deliver a package that appears to have been damaged in transit, you should refuse the delivery. Please note if the package is left at your location without a signature you may still refuse delivery by calling the carrier. You must e-mail us or call our Customer Service Department at (877) 950-SHOP, Monday through Friday, between 8:00am and 5:00pm to report the package refusal. Once receipt of the package is confirmed back to the manufacturer, you can expect to see a credit posted to your credit card billing statement in 1-2 billing cycles.

 

If you choose to accept the damaged package, have the carrier note the damage on his/her records. In the event that the product inside was damaged in transit, e-mail us or call our Customer Service Department immediately to report the problem. We will then contact the carrier to pick up the package from you and process a credit for the returned item.

 

 

 

 

PAYMENT METHODS

 

What payment methods do you accept?

 

You can pay by the following methods:

 

1.      American Express and domestic U.S.-issued Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards accepted with no additional surcharge. For customer protection, we check all credit cards for potential fraud.

2.      Purchase orders welcomed from educational institutions and approved corporations. A credit application must be submitted and approved before purchase orders can be accepted. The standard term for approved accounts is "Net 30." Go to Accounts for procedures.

3.      Other payment methods:

Wire transfers - immediate processing

Certified checks - immediate processing

Cashier's checks, money orders, personal checks, business checks - held for 10 business days prior to processing

 

Note: COD orders not accepted

 

 

Can I split the payment methods on my order (e.g. 1/2 check, 1/2 charge)?

 

We accept only one payment method per order.

PRICING DISCOUNTS

 

How do I qualify for pricing discounts?

 

Discounts are based on previous purchases. In order to qualify for discount pricing, you must meet specific previous purchase levels. When you qualify for a certain level your order next order will automatically reflect the discount price. All price discount levels are reset annually.
